Accept Online Payments with a Merchant Account
To accept credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Union Pay, you'll need an Internet Merchant Account or a Merchant ID (MID). This type of account is different from a regular bank account.
Globill provides Merchant Accounts to online vendors as part of our all-in-one offering.
With a merchant account you can send card-not-present (CNP) payments to be authorised by the cardholder's issuing bank.
It is the acquiring bank that passes the payment transaction request for authorisation to the Card Association networks which in turn are connected to all the card issuing banks around the world.
Once successfully authorised then the payment will be transferred immediately to your merchant account and later settled into your business bank account.
Why Obtain a Merchant Account from Globill?
It can be a complex and difficult process applying for a Merchant Account, especially for what the bank perceives to be 'high risk' merchants.
We offer an all-in-one solution including a Payment Gateway and anti-fraud controls for all types of merchants.
